Meanwhile… is the debut EP by No Bother, the musical alter-ego of Dublin based artist and musician Paddy Lynch.

Having spent many years contributing to and breathing life into the musical visions of others, this new project came about as a response to the question of what a band led purely by his own influences and interests might sound like. The resulting batch of songs, three of which are presented on this EP, draws heavily on the indie and alternative rock sounds of the last 30 years – rough edged, imperfect, but shot through with a wide-eyed sense of melody.

'Meanwhile…' and 'Don't Get Me Wrong' act as lyrical mirror images of each other. 'Meanwhile…' is about drawing strength from the fact that every dark moment has an equal and opposite moment of lightness and 'Don't Get Me Wrong' serves as a note to a friend to savour those moments of breakthrough knowing that the next struggle is just around the corner. 'Like a Wave' is a tale of heartache and acceptance and a taster from No Bother's full length album, currently in the works.

Guiding all of this are the principals of 'inability and enthusiasm' - a way of staying true to what comes out in this process of, quite literally, uncovering the unique voice in No Bother's sound.
